Our refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent. Please read this carefully before engaging our services.
Important: All upfront deposits and completed milestone payments are non-refundable. We strongly recommend reviewing your project requirements with our team before making any payment to ensure complete alignment.

1. Overview
At Kraftora, we are committed to delivering exceptional digital engineering solutions and ensuring complete client satisfaction. We understand that projects can evolve, circumstances can change, and expectations must be clearly aligned. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be considered for our services.
This policy applies to all services provided by Kraftora, including custom software development, mobile app development, AI automation, UI/UX design, SEO services, CMS development, and our internship programs.
By engaging our services, you agree to this Refund Policy as part of our broader Terms of Service.
2. Non-Refundable Payments
The following payments are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances:
- Upfront Deposit / Advance Payment: The initial deposit (typically 30%–50% of the total project value) paid before work commences is non-refundable. This deposit covers project planning, research, team allocation, discovery sessions, and initial design/architecture work — all of which begin immediately upon engagement.
- Completed Milestone Payments: Any milestone payment made and accepted upon delivery of the corresponding phase deliverables is non-refundable, as the work for that phase has been completed and accepted.
- Consultation & Strategy Fees: Fees paid for discovery calls, technical consulting sessions, code audits, or architecture reviews are non-refundable regardless of whether a full project engagement follows.
- Completed Internship / Training Programs: Fees paid for internship or mentorship programs are non-refundable once the program has commenced or once certificates/credentials have been issued.
3. Eligible Refund Scenarios
Refunds may be considered (at Kraftora's sole discretion) in the following limited scenarios:
3.1 Pre-Development Cancellation
If you cancel a project before any active development or design work has started (beyond initial scoping), you may be eligible for a partial refund of the deposit, minus:
- An administrative fee of ₹2,000 or 10% of the deposit (whichever is greater)
- Any third-party costs already incurred (domain registrations, tool licenses, etc.)
- Time spent on discovery, scoping, and proposals (billed at ₹1,500/hour)
3.2 Kraftora-Initiated Cancellation
If Kraftora is unable to complete the agreed deliverables due to reasons within our control and chooses to terminate the engagement, you will receive a full refund of any payments made for work not yet delivered, minus a pro-rated amount for work already completed.
3.3 Duplicate or Erroneous Payments
If you are charged twice for the same service, or if a payment is processed incorrectly due to a technical error, a full refund of the duplicate or erroneous amount will be issued within 5–7 business days of verification.
3.4 Internship Program — Early Cancellation
For our internship and mentorship programs:
- Full Refund (100%): Cancellation within 3 calendar days of registration, provided the program has not yet started.
- Partial Refund (50%): Cancellation after program commencement but within the first 7 calendar days, and provided less than 25% of the program content has been accessed.
- No Refund: After 7 calendar days from program start, or if certificates or completion documents have already been issued.
4. Scenarios Where No Refund Will Be Issued
No refund will be issued in the following circumstances:
- You change your mind or business direction after work has commenced
- You fail to provide required content, feedback, or approvals, causing project delays
- Delays are caused by factors outside Kraftora's control (third-party API outages, client-side infrastructure issues, etc.)
- You are dissatisfied with the final result after approving intermediate deliverables or mockups
- Your project is paused or abandoned due to non-payment by you
- You request features or scope outside the agreed SOW and are dissatisfied with the additional cost
- The project is delivered according to the agreed SOW but does not achieve your desired business results (e.g., expected traffic, revenue, or conversions)
5. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, follow these steps:
- Email us at hello@kraftora.in with the subject line: "Refund Request – [Your Name / Company Name]"
- Include the following details in your email:
- Your registered email address and full name
- Transaction ID or payment reference number
- Date of payment
- Service or project the payment relates to
- Detailed reason for requesting a refund
- Wait for acknowledgment: We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
- Review period: We will review your request within 5–7 business days, during which we may contact you for additional information or to attempt resolution.
- Decision & processing: If your refund is approved, the amount will be credited to your original payment method within 5–10 business days after approval. Bank transfer timelines may vary.
6. Disputes & Chargebacks
We strongly encourage clients to contact us directly to resolve any payment disputes before initiating a chargeback with their bank or payment provider. We are committed to fair resolution and will work diligently to address legitimate concerns.
Initiating an unjustified chargeback while a project is in progress or after deliverables have been provided constitutes a breach of these Terms. In such cases, Kraftora reserves the right to:
- Immediately suspend all access to deliverables, source code, and hosted services
- Pursue legal recovery of amounts owed, including dispute fees and legal costs
- Report the incident to relevant payment fraud prevention systems
7. Modifications to This Policy
Kraftora reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. For active projects, the refund policy in effect at the time of contract signing will govern that engagement. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
